Anagnorisis

...the startling discovery that produces a change from ignorance to knowledge.. usually involves revelation of the true identity of persons previously unknown, as when a father recognizes a stranger as his son, or vice versa.

I just learned a new word and I'm determined to apply it to my life today. So here it goes, every day God is bringing to light things that I never saw or knew before. I'm reaching an anagnorisis of my life where i'm seeing a lot of things for what it is, facing REALITY and i'm being able to let myself off the hook for a lot of my wounds. I'm making a lot of break through's. Today I came to see how I saw myself to be like a sand castle, if a wave came by I'd be knocked down and disappear. But I've shifted my perspective by envisioning myself building who I am onto a brick walled solid castle (not made of sand) that even if the waves and winds came, nothing can knock me down! This is my anagnorisis for the day.
